Holmdel Cemetery is located on Holmdel Road, between Schanck Road and Roberts Road, less than one mile east of Rt. 34. It is active and well kept. When local families incorporated Holmdel Cemetery in 1871, some burials from Schenck and Couwenhoven, also known as Pleasant Valley Cemetery 1698-1898, were reinterred at Holmdel Cemetery. Holmdel Cemetery now has over 3,600 interments on 10 acres and in 4 recently added mausoleums. The Cemetery Currently offers In-Ground Burial, Above Ground Mausoleum, and Both In-Ground and Mausoleum for Cremations.
